Cards on the Table

This tool is designed specifically for gaming situations where there is likely to be content that could be difficult for some people, especially games where challenging content is part of the intended experience. By the end of a Cards on the Table exercise, the group should have a set of topics and themes that everyone has approved for use in play.

Note – Cards on the Table is not intended to be the only safety tool used in your game, especially if you are including serious themes and content. Cards on the Table is a preparatory tool only and should always be partnered with strong in-play safety mechanisms.
